I have been a stay at home Mom since 2001 when I had our son Michael. I wanted to be able to be there for all of them and so God paved the way for me to do just that.
My husband Ron and I live a pretty normal life. He works hard, God bless Him, and I am home and work hard, God bless me lol.
Having a family of five is very rewarding most of the time and sometimes, well, it can be challenging to say the least. Our family is a blended family so at times that throws a wrench in our lives. Both of my daughters have different biological Fathers and then my husband and I have Michael. The great thing about my husband is that he loves the girls just like his own! He has never separated them from his love for our son.
Our daughter, Kaytlin, is 16. She is the oldest of the three. I love her so much! She is so loving and has a huge heart. She loves Christ and does her best to fight off the pressures of this world. Sometimes those worldly influences catch her but she quickly recovers.
Kaytlin is my dancer! Man can this girl dance. She also is great at track (very fast girl). She aspires to be a counselor someday and I have no doubt that she will be a great one!
She will be a loving Mother and Wife. She is a lot like me in many ways. Not sure if that is good or bad yet! lol! She is strong and when she wants something she does not give up.
(Love you Angel Girl)
Kelsie is our 13 (almost 14) year-old daughter. Kelsie is an amazing child. She is so talented and will offer the world her voice as an instrument. Her heart is huge! She has struggled in school with friends at times but the greatest thing is, they know who to go to when everything crashes around them because she ALWAYS forgives.
Kelsie is a Christian. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and will continue to help reach the lost for God's glory, not her own.
Kelsie aspires to be a music teacher and I am 100% positive she will be. I just love her determination! She also wants to be on American Idol in a year or so! Watch out world!
Kelsie is also a lot like me! We have a lot in common. Jesus is #1 in our lives. On the fun side, we both like to sing, and eat cupcakes, and most of all we like to spend quality time with each other.
(Love you Peach!)
Then there is our son Michael! What a HAM he is! He is a very smart and talented young man! You can pretty much ask him anything about science and he will tell you what it is all about!
He is my baby, yes, I said it! He is very loving but sensitive. He is not one for rough housing, like his Father. He is more interested in playing video games and LEGOS.
What will he be when he grows up? Not sure yet but I am positive that it will be something great and he will be a blessing!
Michael loves Jesus and understands much more then your average 10-year-old. He is very content with his life and he has had a very stable one! I am not sure what I will do when he grows up! Empty nest syndrome for sure! I do not even want to see what happens when he brings home a girl! I think I will have three girls freaking out here and a Dad going "Way to go Son!" LOL (Love you Baby boy!)
Then there is my husband Ron. We will be married for 12 years in August! We have had a rough marriage not because of us but the world. We have faced many trials but our God has kept us together. At our wedding some people were putting bets that we would not make it past a year.....I think they all lost!
Ron is an amazing man. He has grown so much since we first met. He is a hard worker, good provider, a sensitive man, who has loved me no matter what! Most of all, he puts up with my crap and you cannot ask anything more then that!
If I could change anything in the past 12 years about him, I would not change anything. He is my BEST FRIEND and as I write this I am realizing how much more I could do for him.
I pray that we have our whole lives together, grow old together, and pass top Heaven together. (I LOVE YOU FOREVER)
Then there is me, fat and sassy lol! You know, I use to be a size 0? Yep! Anyways, I am a Christian. Jesus is VERY important to me and I work on my faith everyday. I was baptized in 2008 and I have not looked back since.
I think I am a fun-loving person. You will hear me cracking jokes most of the time because life is way to serious. I have a sarcastic/witty sense of humor.
I have a big heart and love and forgive many. I do not like to hold grudges nor store up hurtful feelings. I like to settle things right away.
My God, my Husband, and my Children are the most important relationships that I have. I also love my parents, Ron's parents and all of my siblings (4 boys and 1 girl). I love my nephews and nieces even though they live far away or that I do not get to see them often. (Smooches to you all)
The biggest thing that I want everyone to know about me is that I have never let Satan win. Jesus has won already so therefore Satan cannot win. Yes, I have been through an earthly hell BUT my life with Christ has healed me completely and my only wish is that whoever is reading this have the same thing!!!!!
Walk away from the World and be a Child of God
- "God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen."
